Wireless Access to the Internet is everywhere, from the local Starbucks to your own home. With more users demanding faster broadband access to the web, Wireless broadband service is now ready to usher in 4g Internet. Is it worth it though, should you now jump onto the 4g bandwagon and dump 3g? Lets compare both.

3rd Generation better known as 3G was launched in May of 2001 in Japan. 3G gave wireless users the ability to connect to applications not previously offered to mobile phone users. It does come with one downfall and that is with faster wireless speed comes less battery time. As battery manufacturers create better batteries that offer more time this should be less of a problem. With connection speed promising to be up to 10 times as fast as 3G, the future looks very bright for 4G broadband service.
